The Prodigy Dyna-Core Hanging Rope for Aerial Hoop has been designed to give the maximum strength and safety you need, with a rope that is flexible and comfortable to use.
A Hanging Rope is often preferred compared to a strop because it is much better to grip. It also looks beautiful on stage compared to a more industrial looking strop. If you're looking for something more comfortable to hock onto than a rope, and you like the grip and look of a strop, then an Aerial PolySafe Rope might be better for you.
What is the Dyna-Core? It is a super strong 4mm, 12-strand Dyneema rope. This is spliced end to end onto stainless steel thimbles and individually, the Dyna-Core has a 1500kg Minimum Breaking Strain (MBS).
The outer rope is an incredibly high quality 4-strand 24mm diameter 100% cotton rope. The cotton rope component individually has a 24 kN MBS. The Dyna-Core reduces the stretch this rope would have on its own.
Maximum strength, maximum versatility
The Dyna-Core ropes have another nifty feature: they have the steel eye thimble inside the rope. That means you don’t have a chunky steel eye at the attachment point of your hoop.
Maximum safety, easy to inspect
The construction of the Dyna-Core ropes means that you have redundancy built into the system. Even better than that is that is it incredibly easy to inspect your ropes, even internally.
You can check the internal Dyneema Core by opening gaps between the twists in the outer cotton rope. It’s easy to inspect the thimble eye termination of the Dyneema Core.
