The HyperSpin LED kit (sold as a pair) fits the HyperSpin TC and T diabolos (sold separately). The TCs look best with this glow kit as they have translucent rims compared with the opaque rims of the T diabolos. You can buy this light kit and a TC diabolo together over here.
This glow diabolo kit is one of the brightest we've seen. You can see a comparison picture on this page but also check out the video below to see the HyperSpin glow diabolos in action.
Supplied with three RGB LEDs on each unit you can switch between the following modes with a push of the central button:
1) Solid red
2) Solid green
3) Solid blue
4) Solid pink
5) Solid orange
6) Solid turquoise
7) RGB (the LEDs are on different levels so you get 3 concentric circles of red, green, blue)
8) Same as 7) but flashing
9) Slow change
That button also turns the LEDs on and off. You need to press and hold the button to turn the kits on. This stops you accidentally turning the lights on in your bag and wasting battery power.
The HyperSpin LED kits are powered by 2x CR2032 batteries (so you'll need 4 to power the pair), which can be bought here.
These glow kits fit onto the end of the diabolo's axle. You'll need to remove the nut from each end of the diabolo using basic tools. You can then hand tighten the LED kits in place. It's worth regularly checking the kits are still secure.
Adding the LED units to HyperSpin diabolos raises their weight from 9oz (254g) to 10.4oz (294g).
