A levistick (short for "levitation stick") is a flow prop that appears to float in mid-air, seemingly independent of the performer.

The secret to the levistick is a thin, nearly invisible string that
attaches to the stick, usually slightly off-center, allowing the stick to stay upright while being manipulated.
