Firetoys is the leading manufacturer and retailer of top quality circus and juggling equipment on the planet (or so we believe). We pride ourselves on our amazing customer services, our highly efficient e-commerce systems and top quality product lines. As such we can only accept truly dedicated and motivated people amongst our ranks.

We regularly need more talented and driven people to join our ranks and we never use agencies to recruit. All currently available positions are advertised below.

Warehouse Manager

Apply soon! Interviews start November 2 but we'll still accept applications after this date.

Firetoys is a world leader in the manufacture and distribution of circus and juggling equipment. We have been established for well over a decade, and we currently retail our goods all over the world. Our headquarters are in Brighton, England, and our US operations are growing fast.

We are in the process of opening a new despatch centre in Cincinnati, Ohio and we are looking for a warehouse manager to help setup the workspace and run operations.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and driven individual to take the lead early in our new premises and ensure the high standard of Firetoys is maintained in the new regional center.

As this is a new branch of our UK based organisation, you will need to be truly adaptable and happy to face new challenges on a daily basis.

The initial role will involve setting up the premises (eg: assembling racks and desks), administrative tasks (eg: setting up utilities, telecoms and postal contracts) and warehousing (eg: receiving deliveries and processing inbound containers).

Once setup, your duties will shift towards processing orders, despatching goods, customer services and working on maintaining an efficient e-commerce warehouse. Additional warehousing staff will need to be recruited in due course transforming the role into a managerial one.

You will work closely with and be supported by the Directors of the company and liaise with the UK headquarters on a regular basis. Training and remote assistance will be provided throughout the setup, however a ‘can-do’ attitude is essential to succeed in this role!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and fast growing company at grass roots level. As the first member of staff you will build an energetic team and remain the team leader from the outset.

A keen interest in circus and juggling, and knowledge of the props, whilst not essential, will greatly help your application.

Please only apply if you are:

- A self-motivated driven individual capable of working alone and within a team

- Excited about developing a fast paced subsidiary of a great UK company

- Computer literate and happy to learn new warehousing software

- Have a positive attitude and helpful telephone manner

- Physically able to pick up and carry boxes up to 20kg

- 2 years’ experience within the fulfilment sector is desirable

Competitive salary and full standard benefits offered.

To apply, please email with details of why you think you could succeed in this role. Please include a copy of your resume.
