In September 2013 the sad news was announced that the Berlin team set to run the European Juggling Convention (EJC) 2015 were pulling out. You can read more about the reasons for this here.

Today we report the happier news that a new venue and organising team have been found. In 2015 the EJC is set to return to Karlsruhe, Germany.

Karlsruhe has hosted the EJC twice before; in 2000 and 2008. There is limited information at the moment but we are assuming the convention will be back on the same site as 2008. The Karlsruhe site is ideal for a convention, with a very large hall and huge outdoor spaces where we except to find the traders and big tops.

Karlsruhe is a good central location which would attract a high number of attendees anyway, but with the legendary reputation of the last Karlsruhe EJC, expect 2015 to be a record breaker!

Speaking on a personal note, the 2008 Karlsruhe EJC was my first, so I am very excited to be returning in 2015. This sentiment is shared by many other jugglers, judging by the comments on Facebook: "That's awesome! Returning to the site of my first and most epic EJC...I am more than happy!" said one commentator. Another said simply: "Wonderful news!"

For the latest updates keep your eye on the European Juggling Association's Facebook page and the new EJC 2015 website (under construction at the time of writing).
