The European Juggling Convention 2014 starts in Millstreet, Ireland on 19th July. They've made some exciting show and masterclass recently that has really whetted our appetite!

The Gala Show is looking great with, "contemporary weirdo", Matthias Romir, hosting proceedings. He'll be introducing the talents of Kyle Johnson, one of the world's favourite jugglers; Gail O'Brien, a dynamic and technical hoop dancer; Roxanna and her incredible foot juggling and trapeze skills; Swedish juggler, Patrik Elmnert; Cyrille Humen and his new act "Dive" and Florent Lestage who's mind-blowing juggling skills won him a silver medal at the 30th "Festival Mondial du cirque de demain" in 2009.

There's also a great line-up of master classes - a set of special workshops from world-famous artists. Most excitingly these include classes from Michael Moschen, the father of modern contact juggling, and Viktor Kee, one of the world's best jugglers and Cirque du Soleil performer (unlike other masterclasses, Viktor's require you to purchase a special ticket). Other masterclasses include contact staff from Meast, hoops from Tianna Zoumer, Gail O'Brien, Emma Kenna and Henna MataHoops, ball and bounce juggling from Marco Paoletti, aerial acrobatics from Fidget Feet, diabolo from Priam Pierret, poi from Ronan McLoughlin and many more.

Personally, I am more excited about The Legend Stage than anything else! This show will feature acts from, you guessed it, legends! Viktor Kee, Michael Moschen, Steve Mills - the inventor of Mills' Mess, authors and comedy jugglers Haggis and Charlie, Françoise Rochais, old-school diabolist and author Donald Grant and many more. It's hardly believable that so many greats and influential artists are going to be on the same stage!

There will, of course be the usual shenanigans of Renegades, the Open Stages, the "normal" workshops, the parade, the games, the Céilí Mór, an acrobatics area, healing zone and much, much more.

We can't wait!

If you haven't pre-registered already you can still get tickets on the door. Come and say "hi" to us in the traders' area. We hope to see you all there...
