British Juggling Convention 2012

2012 will be the 25th BJC, and we are celebrating with a trip to the seaside. Southend has miles of beaches and the world's longest pleasure pier - it's so long that you can catch a train along it.

BEACH HOLIDAY?

You might not have much time to get out your bucket and spade though: we're planning an action packed BJC with a full program of workshops and entertainment, culminating in the Saturday night Public Show with jugglers that even jugglers are impressed by.

WHAT HAPPENS AT BJC?

BJC is a comfortable, friendly camping convention. If you've never been or you're on your own, don't worry, everyone will make you feel very welcome. You can go to workshops, run a workshop, meet new people, swap tricks, play board games in the bar, or join a unicycle ride to the end of the pier. If that sounds too heavy going, there's also tea drinking to be done or sitting in the gym watching people practice things that should be impossible. We have an enormous range of traders who can help you stock up on new gear.

WHO CAN COME?

BJC attracts all kinds of people - beginners and experts, professionals and amateurs, dedicated practicioners and people who hardly pick up a prop all week. Some people bring their non-juggling partners, kids or parents along and they always seem to find something to do!

SO WHERE IS IT?
